"I have lived in the Edgewater neighborhood for 40 years, and Karen Ayers is well known and respected throughout our community—not just as a business, but also for her support of our community's diversity. Personally, I’ve been a client of hers for 25 years, and she is hands-down the best in the business. We started with a basic renters policy (which I think is a must-have for everyone), and as life progressed, Karen handled everything from our auto insurance to our homeowners and landlord liability once we bought our apartment building. As a landlord, I require my tenants to have renters insurance. While I do not mandate her business—only that they carry a policy—I have never had a tenant decline her services once they've connected. For many of them, this is often their very first time with insurance, and that can be a bit overwhelming. Karen provides me with professional "getting started" packets to give to my prospective tenants, which is incredibly helpful. I always suggest they call her, and the feedback I get back from them is consistently fantastic; she makes the process easy for them to understand as they begin their own journey of financial safety. On the rare occasion we’ve had to file a claim over the years, Karen’s office has provided true "white glove" treatment. They take the stress out of the situation and handle every detail with care. Whether you’re a first-time renter or a long-time property owner, you won't find better service in Edgewater, Andersonville, Uptown, Rogers Park, or across the greater Chicago north neighborhoods than what Karen provides. Shout out as well to her FANTASTIC staff—they provide that "no-worrying" approach you want from any business because of their extremely proactive communication. I never have to spend time following up because they are always the ones reaching out to me first."

"Max is an outstanding insurance agent and provides truly exceptional customer service. He was incredibly transparent when walking me through renters insurance and auto insurance quotes, clearly explaining coverage options, pricing, and tradeoffs without any pressure. After moving across three states, and weighing options for renter’s insurance, even though State Farm is $3 more per month than a competitor’s quote for almost exact policy terms, I returned to State Farm for insurance specifically because of Max’s high-quality service. Being able to reach a real person with a personality more than for a one off conversation versus a huge automated menu, call centers, or chatbots is worth the money in today’s customer service landscape. He is proactive, patient, FRIENDLY and genuinely focused on what’s best for the customer. He follows up quickly, answers questions thoroughly, and makes the insurance process easy to understand. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and responsive insurance agent for renters insurance or auto insurance, I highly recommend Max. Give him a raise, truly."
